William Arnott Winn (?–1939)

Mr. William Arnott Winn, chairman of directors of the Newcastle retail firm of W. Winn and Co. Pty., Ltd., died in Sydney on Saturday.

Mr. Winn had been a leader in Newcastle commercial life for many years. He was a former president and vice-president of the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce, a former president and a foundation member of the Newcastle Rotary Club, chairman of the Newcastle Retail Traders' Association, a member of the Newcastle Port Advisory Committee, and a former member of the Newcastle Hospital Board.

Mrs. Winn, a son, and a daughter survive him.

The funeral was held-yesterday afternoon at the crematorium, Beresfield.
