Charles Alfred Wenman (?–1954)

Popular Theatrical Producer Dies

Mr. Charles (Charles Alfred Wills) Wenman, prominent Australian theatrical identity, died in Brisbane on Saturday night after a long illness. He was 78.

Mr. Wenman was associated with J.C. Williamson & Co. for more than 25 years as producer and general manager. He leaves two daughters and three grandchildren.

He will be buried at Caloundra, Queensland, at 2 p.m. today.
