Tassie Constance Warford-Mein (?–1934)
A very wide circle of friends will regret to hear of the death of Mrs P. [Tassie Constance] Warford Mein daughter of the late Mr and Mr S 1 Staughton and wife of Mr P Warford Mein of Wallace avenue, Toorak, which has occured after a long illness A gracious personality beloved by all with whom she came into contact Mrs Mein will be much missed. She was a charming hostess, a kindly friend to many poor people and all her acts of charity were done so quietly and simply that few knew of her kindness. Keenly interested in needlecraft, she was a former president of the Ladies' Work Association and she was also associated with the work of the Gentlewomen's Aid Society She is survived by her husband and by a son and daughter. Her elder son was killed some years ago in an aeroplane accident in England.
