Stanley Uther (1883–1940)

The late Mr. Stanley Uther, 56, was the only son of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Uther, of Kiama, New South Wales. He was educated at Rockdale College, and came to Queensland in 1912, where he engaged as a building contractor. In 1916 he joined the Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society, Ltd., and remained there until his death. He is survived by a widow and two sons.
