Sydney Ernest Shoobridge (1863–1943)
Tho death occurred at Hobart yesterday of Mr. Sydney E. Shoobridge, youngest son of the late Mr. Richard Shoobridge, of Glenorchy. He was in his 80th year. A brother of the late Canon Shoobridge, Mr. Shoobridge was educated at Horton College, Ross, and for some years was Warden of Glenorchy. He leaves one daughter, Helen, who is matron of the hospital at Cowes, Phillip Island, and two sons, Eric Shoobridge (Bridgewater) and Roy Shoobridge (Smithton). Cremation will take place at Cornelian Bay tomorrow.
