Thomas Davidson (Tom) Scott (1901–1952)

Mr. Thomas David Morton Scott, one of the best-known union secretaries in Victoria, died at his home in Spring-road, Caulfield, late on Wednesday night at the age of 51.

Mr. Scott, who was State secretary of the Federated Engine Drivers and Firemen's Association for the last 10 years, was previously assistant secretary for six years. He was regarded as one of the most capable secretaries of the trade-union movement.

After a service commencing at 3.15 today, the funeral will leave the St. Kilda parlors of Joseph Allison Pty. Ltd. for the Spring Vale Crematorium.

Mr. Scott leaves a wife and three married daughter.
