General regret will be felt at the news of the sudden death of Mr. Frank Rymill, the well-known South Australian pastoralist and sportsman, which occurred on Saturday, 5th July, on his way to the S.A.J.C. race meeting at Morphettville. He was driving his own car, and one of the tyres was punctured by a horseshoe. Mr. Rymill attended to the removal of the flat tyre and putting on the spare wheel. He then entered the car and moved off, but soon afterwards collapsed over the steering wheel. He was removed to a house nearby, and two doctors called in, but life was pronounced to be extinct.
Mr. Rymill was 58 years of age, and was a son of Mr. Henry Rymill, of The Firs, East Terrace, Adelaide. His main interests were in pastoral pursuits, and he resided for some years at Winnininnie, on the Broken Hill line, and later at Yankalilla. For the past four years he has been residing in Adelaide. He was best known to the public through his sporting ventures, being a keen cricketing and racing enthusiast. Mr. Jack Rymill, the interstate cricketer, is a son, and Messrs. A. G., E. S., Herbert and Harry Rymill, are his brothers. He leaves a widow, one daughter and three sons.
