Mrs. Violetta Margaret Ryan, aged 71 years, formerly of Gilgandra, died in Mudgee on the Tuesday. Deceased had resided with her daughter (Mrs. J. Cassidy) in Market Street, for some years and was greatly respected by her many friends.
She is survived by five sons and four daughters: Messrs. Rowley, Tom, Dan, •Jack and Bunny Ryan, Mesdarrtes A. Holswich, Daclt, J. Cassidy and Miss Clair Ryan.
A solemn Requiem Mass was held at St. Mary's . Catholic Church , by the Rev. Father Maher, who also performed the last sad rites at the graveside.
