Alec Robertson (1889–1965)

'Tribune regrets also the death last week of Mr Alec Robertson who, as a prominent labor journalist in World War I was a member of Queensland central anti-conscription committee.

Mr Robertson, a foundation member of the Australian Journalists' Association, joined the staff of the labor Daily Standard when it began in 1912, and became its editor and managing editor in the post-war period.
