Rebecca Rann (1848–1933)

Mrs. H. R. [Rebecca] Rann, one of the first settlers in the Richmond River district, died at her home, Cheltenham, Casino, on Monday last. The deceased, who was widely known in the Northern Rivers district and in Southern Queensland, was 85 years of age at the time of her death. She was born at Goulburn, where her father owned Richlands sheep station, and married Mr. H. R. Rann, of Rosedale. The late Mrs. Rann is survived by a large grown-up family, one of her daughters being Mrs. J. H. C. Harper. A service in the Casino Church of England was largely attended.
