The death of Mr. Thomas Price, 85 years, of Finlay-street, Albert Park, removes one of the pioneers of the industrial wing of the Labor movement, who retired from active service about six years ago. Deceased was secretary of the Iron Workers' Union for over 50 years, and he represented the union on the Trades Hall Council and the former eight hours' anniversary committee. He was the first secretary of the Iron trades council. He is survived by his widow and two sons. The funeral this afternoon will leave his residence for the Fawkner cemetery.
