Richard Henry Penson (1821–1910)

Mr. R. H. [Richard Henry] Penson, of Meerschaum Vale, passed away in the Ballina Hospital after a brief illness. The deceased, who had attained the wonderful age of 92, had led an active life until a fortnight ago. For a long period he was employed as manager of Yulgilbar Station (Upper Clarence) and also saw service under the Hon. T. H. Smith on the same river. He had been a resident of the Lower Richmond since 1883.
