John Woolger Pearson (1928–1983)

Those of us who knew John Pearson (ACT Division) will be saddened by the news of his death on 17 July 1983. John was born in England on 18 November 1928 and after serving in the army, studied at the University College of North Wales, Bangor. He worked in the UK, South Australia, New Zealand and the ACT Forests Section. John resigned from the Department of the Capital Territory and active forestry in 1976.
