Pearse, Sergeant Maurice William, killed by shellfire, in France. He left Australia in 1915, was at Gallipoli, and was wounded at Pozieres. An old Armidalian. He was the son of Mr and Mrs A. W. Pearse. Strathfield (NSW), and was aged 22 years.
