Pearce, Arthur John (?–1921)

The death has occurred, at the age of 67 years, of Mr. Arthur John Pearce. He was the founder and principal of the Sandhurst Grammar School, which he conducted for many years. Afterwards he joined the instructional staff of the Bendigo High School, and retired a year ago. He leaves a widow and two daughters. His only son, Mr. Arthur W. Pearce, who was killed in France, was a well-known playing member of the Melbourne Football Club.
