Mrs. [Emily Letitia] Paul was well known in Sydney political circles, and she stood as an Independent Socialist at the last Federal election. She was also an artist, having studied in Paris, and her son, Mr. Mick Paul, is the well-known artist. Mrs. Paul took the keenest interest in and was a hard worker for the Home for Homeless Women in Yurongstreet, and many of its inmates owed a happy holiday and rest to Mrs. Paul and her bungalow at Dee Why.
