O'May, Ernest Watson (1879–1942)

The death occurred at Hobart on Saturday of Ernest Watson O'May, aged 63, of Lindisfarne Rd., Bellerive, as the result of head injuries received when he fell from a bicycle on Friday night.

Mr O'May is survived by his wife and five sons, James, Ivan, Roy, Ian, and Dudley, and a daughter, Mrs Sergeant.

Mr O'May was an employee of the Hobart Bridge Co. and for the past two months he had been master of the Bellerive ferry.

The funeral will take place today at 2.30 pm.  

An inquest was opened at Hobart yesterday. Evidence of identification was given and the Coroner (Col Clark) adjourned the inquest to a date to be fixed.
