Henry Nelson (1849–1915)

An old resident of Goulburn, Mr. Henry Nelson, died at his late residence, North Goulburn, on Tuesday evening, at the age of 65, from acute bronchitis, from which he had suffered for a long time. He is survived by a widow, four daughters and three sons. The daughters are Mesdames F. Moore, W. Hughes, P. Ham mond, and E. Box, all of Goulburn, and the sons are Messrs. Henry William, Samuel, and William Goodwin Nelson. Mr. Nelson had been a member of the Protestant Alliance Friendly Society for 45 years. He was a son of the late Constable Samuel Nelson, who was shot at Collector by the bushranger, Dunn. There is a handsome monument at Collector to Constable Nelson's memory.
