From Urana he was present at the induction of the Rev. (now Dr.) G. K. S. Reid as pastor in the Narandera charge.

In January, 1940, the Rev. Moulton left Narandera for the purpose of entering into retirement in Sydney, but on his son, the Rev. Lyle Moulton, who was minister of the Mullumbimbi by charge, enlisting for service with the military forces, he took ever the charge until his son re turned.
