Winifred Margaret Mills (1877–1945)

The death occured in Sydney a week ago of a member of one of the best known district families in the person of Miss Winifred Margaret Mills, at the age of 67 years.

The deceased lady was the eldest daughter, and the third child of the late Chas. Mills, founder of the now world famous Uardry stud. She spent her early years in this district and completed her education in England. She moved to Melbourne 33 years ago and nine years ago went from Melbourne to take up her residence in Vaucluse. She had been ill for some months prior to her death.

Miss Mills retained some interests in this district and was an occasional visitor.
