Edwin Franks Millar (1844–1928)

Mr Edwin Franks Millar died at his residence, Avalon, Hampton road, Armadale, on Saturday, aged 84 years. Mr Millar had been living in retirement for a number of years. He and his brother were the founders of Millar's Timber and Trading Company in Western Australia, one of the largest companies of the kind and were also railway contractors on a large scale. Mrs Millar survives her husband. The funeral was held privately at Boroondara yesterday. The Rev T. D. Fethers officiated at the graveside. The mortuary arrangements were in the hands of A. A. Sleight Pty Ltd.
