Florence (Flo) Milburn (?–1958)

Mrs. Flo (Florence) Milburn, wife of Frank Milburn, Seamen's Agent in Townsville, died last Wednesday night.

Mrs. Milburn, a schoolteacher for many years, was an early member of the Communist Party, and worked tirelessly for the working class throughout her adult life.

She played an exemplary role in the struggle for peace.

All sections of the labor movement in North Queensland joined in expressing their grief at her passing and their condolences to her husband and family.
