Mary McKenzie (1864–1941)

Miss Mary McKenzie, who died at her home in Moonee Ponds on Friday, September 12, was the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John McKenzie, early pioneers of the Kilmore district.

Born at "Braemore," Moranding, in 1864, the late Miss McKenzie continued to live there till 1924, when she retired to live in the City.

She was very well known to the older families of the town. She was a generous supporter of the Kilmore Hospital and other charitable institutions.

She is survived by her sisters, Isabella and Christina. We extend to them our deepest sympathy.
