Pat McHenry, well-known secretary-manager of the Sydney Trade Union Club, passed away on August 4. A large number of friends and relatives attended the funeral on August 6.
Pat McHenry had a long and distinguished record in the Labor movement, having been South Coast secretary of the Ironworkers' Union and later State secretary and Federal vice-president.
He was a loyal member of the Communist Party of Australia from the time he joined in the early 'thirties until his death.
The funeral oration was given by Mr. E. Thornton.
