Gerald Hastings McDouall (?–1909)

The remains of the late Mr. Gerald Hastings Crichton McDouall, sixth son of the late Mr. J. C. S. McDouall, of New Freugh, Singleton, was brought to Singleton last week, and interred in tho Church of England cemetery at Whittingham. Over 20 years ago the deceased was accountant at the local branch of the A.J.S. Bank, and was afterwards appointed to the management of the Tamworth branch. Some six years ago he had the misfortune to lose his eyesight. He was a brother of Mr. P. J. C. MeDouall, of Dungog, and has also one or more brothers in Sydney. He leaves a wife to mourn her loss.
