Robert Mactier (1848–1939)

Mr Robert Mactier aged 91 years has died. He was a noted breeder of draught stock and pure strains of wheat. He had been blind for several years although enjoying good health otherwise. His son Robert was awarded the V.C. for conspicuous bravery in France where he lost his life.
