Elizabeth Rose Mackenzie (1870–1932)

The death occurred on Monday night of Mrs. Elizabeth Mackenzie, widow of the late Alexander Mackenzie, of Orange. She was born at Wellington sixty-three years ago, and had been ailing for sometime. The sons and daughters are, Stuart, Laurence, William (Taree, and well-known in Wellington, having resided here for a great number of years), Alex, Thomas, Arthur, Allan, and Mrs. L. Williams, also an ex-resident of Wellington. Mr J. Wilson, of Wellington, is a brother, and Mrs. A. Howard, a sister. Mrs. N. Breeze, of Wellington, is a step-sister, and Mr. W. Gardner, the W.D.R.A. official, is a step-brother. The Wellington relatives left for Orange on Tuesday morning to be present at the funeral, which took place yesterday.
