William Macansh (?–1894)

A telegram received from Harden, N.S.W., on the evening of the 31st July, announced the death that day of Mr. William Macansh, proprietor of Garangula Station. The deceased gentleman had been ailing some time. He was one of the pioneers of the district and had been resident in it for nearly half-a-century. He formerly owned several stations in the vicinity of Harden, inclusive of Redbank and Bundarbo, in the Gundagai district. His funeral, which took place at Garangula Station on the 1st inst., was largely attended.
