Robert Cowper MacAdam (1865–1924)

By the death of Mr. Robert Cowper McAdam, formerly manager of the Australian Chilling and Freezing Company, Aderdeen, N.S.W., which took place in Sydney on the 2nd inst., there has been removed a well-known figure connected with the meat and pastoral industries of that State. Mr. McAdam was 59 years of age at the time of his death, and had been associated with the Aberdeen Meat Works in the capacity of manager for a period of about 24 years. He was closely identified with public organisations in his district, and as a member of the Graziers' Association and the Primary Producers' Union he did very valuable work.

Mr. McAdam was a man of pleasant personality, and was most highly esteemed by all who came into contact with him. He leaves a widow and grown-up family.
