William Lyne (1781–1854)

On the 2nd instant, from suffocation (by a small portion of food lodging in the windpipe), William Lyne, Senior, Esq., of Apsley, Great Swanport, at the advanced age of 72 years. Deceased arrived in this colony from England with his family in the year 1826, and has been much loved and respected by a numerous circle of friends and relations, who are left to deplore his loss.
