Mrs. Broughton Luscombe, of Hurlstone Park, has received information that her husband, Corporal B. T. [Broughton Taylor] Luscombe was killed in action in France on April 18. Corporal Luscombe enlisted in July, 1915, together with his two brothers, Keith and Frank. Both Corporal Luscombe and his brother Keith received wounds last July at Pozieres, the latter's wounds proving fatal. Corporal Luscombe returned to the front in October. Mrs. Luscombe's brother, Private Ernest Meyer, was also killed in July last, and she has two brothers still serving.
