The death occurred on Monday at the home of her son (Mr. Aubrey Laver), at Cotswold, Crookwell (N.S.W.), of Mrs. Stephen [Florence] Laver, wife of Mr. Stephen Laver, of Tatong, Frogmore (N.S.W.). Mrs. Laver, who was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Colclough, of Tatong, Benalla, had many friends In Victoria. She was one of the founders and the first president of the women's section of the Country party, of which she was made a life member several years ago In recognition of her services. Mrs. E. Reseigh, of Cambrai Park, Birchip, who was closely associated with Mrs. Laver in her work for the benefit of countrywomen, was her niece.. Mrs. Laver made a special visit to Victoria to attend the annual conference of the United Country party, at Ballarat, recently. When she went with her family to live in New South Wales some years ago she joined the Country Women's Association, of which she was a vice-president and a member of the executive. She was returning home from Ballarat to attend a conference of the Country Women's Association in New South Wales when she became ill.
