Lieut-Col. John Kendall, late of Shepparton and Seymour, died on Sunday. He was a son of Dr. W. T. Kendall, and a brother of Mr H. Kendall, director of the Melbourne Zoological (wardens, of Lieut-Col W. A. Kendall and Mr E. P, Kendall, and Sister E. J. Kendal). The deceased gentleman fought through the last war and was mentioned in despatches on no fewer than five occasions. He is survived by two sons, one of whom (John) is in the RAAF. The private cremation took place at Fawkner cemetery yesterday afternoon.
