Moran, resident surgeon at the Women's Hospital, stated that deceased had admitted mechanical interference by her own act. Detective J. W. Madin gave corroborative evidence. A verdict of death from septicaemia, following upon an attempt to bring about a certain event by the act of the deceased, was returned.
