Henry Howe (1803–1878)

Mr Henry Howe who died on 12th inst. at St Kilda, near Melbourne, aged 74 years. and much-respected resident of Launceston, where he carried on an auctioneering business, first in partnership with Mr W. T. Bell, and subsequently by himself. Bodily infirmities, compelled him to relinquish business, and some years ago he removed to Victoria.
