John Hotson (1835–1889)

from Adelaide Observer

Last evening Mr. John Hotson, an old esteemed and highly respected inhabitant of 32 years' standing, died rather suddenly. He was ever foremost in public matters appertaining to the advancement of Robe. In business transactions he was straightforward, upright, and honest, and in private friendship sincere and truthful. Much sympathy is felt for the sorrowing widow and large family.
