Claude Alfred Holt (1881–1930)

Mr Claude A.W. Holt whose death occurred on Christmas Eve was the only son of the late Mr Alfred W. Holt of Arthursleigh and Wingello in the Goulburn district and grandson of the late Mr Thos. Holt one of the first four members of the Legislative Council. Mr Holt served during the war with the 7th Light Horse Regiment and was wounded at the battle of Romani. He is survived by Mrs Holt and a son and daughter, A service was held at his late residence, Manly, and conducted by his uncle the Rev Ronald Cameron of Turramurra who also officiated at the graveside at Waverley.
