John Hardy (1831–1909)

Mr. John Hardy, the founder and senior partner of the firm of Hardy Bros., Ltd., died yesterday. He was a prominent lay man of the Methodist denomination, being one of the promoters of the Ladies' College, Burwood, and a member of the council of Newington College. He left three sons and four daughters.
