Julian Edmond Hannelly (1891–1971)

The death occurred in the Wellington District Hospital on Sunday of one of Stuart Town’s best known and most respected residents, Mr Julian Edmond Tennyson Hannelly.

Mr Hannelly was aged 80 years, and he resided in Molong Street.

His wife, Lucy Ellen, pre-deceased him by only four days.

Mr Hannelly is survived by four sons and two daughters.

They are William, Julian Jnr, Maxwell, Thomas, Gwenneth and Ella. A son Robert, pre-deceased him.

The funeral service was held at 3 pm on Monday, at the Catholic Church, Stuart Town. Interment took place at the Catholic portion of Stuart Town cemetery.

Messrs H. Logue and Sons had charge of the funeral arrangements.
