Readers will regret to learn of the demise of Mr. Charles Griffiths. Our departed comrade died after a very short illness at the Alfred Hospital on September 3, 1933.
Federal and State members of Parliament, together with officers of the A.L.P. and Trades Union Movement attended the funeral at Fawkner Cemetery on Monday, September 4.
Comrade Griffiths was one of the early stalwarts of our political and industrial activities. He represented the Clothing Trades Union on many A.L.P. conferences, and was always sincerely on the advance side of our Movement.
