Mr. James Gibson, 75, of Drummond-street, North Carlton, who died on Saturday, was for many years treasurer of the Clothing Trades Union, and represented that body on the Melbourne Trades Hall Council. The remains were interred yesterday at the Fawkner Cemetery. The funeral was largely attended, among those present being the general secretary (Mr. H. Carter), the secretary of the Victorian branch (Mr. A. Wallis), and several delegates on the Trades Hall Council.
