Mr. Alexander Fitzpatrick, formerly a mounted trooper, and perhaps the last of the principals in the notorious Kelly Gang drama, died on Tuesday at his residence in Glenferrie. Mr. Fitzpatrick, to whom can be ascribed the initial act in the vendetta between the Gang and the police, is the first man alleged to have fallen a victim, to the pistol of Ned Kelly.
