Mrs. Ethel Archer Field died suddenly yesterday at her residence, Moorlands, Kimberley. A former resident of the Deloraine district, she was the second daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. T. M. Archer, of Retreat, Deloraine, where she was born and educated. She married the late Mr. G. W. Field, and resided at Kimberley. Her husband died three years ago. Mrs. Field took interest in church affairs, and was a former president of the St. Mark's Church of England Mothers' Union. In her youth she was tennis champion of Northern Tasmania. She leaves three daughters, Mesdames I. G. Ibbott (Weegena), H. L. Pedley (Moltema), and Miss N. Field (Deloraine), and three sons, Messrs. G. R, E. K and B. A. Field, of Kimberley. The funeral will take place at Deloraine tomorrow.
