Mary Elizabeth Everett (1854–1913)

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Horsfall Everett, wife of Mr. Joseph Everett, of Malvern, died suddenly on Wednesday. She was a prominent member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union in Victoria for many years, but had recently come to reside in South Australia. In the Australasian W.C.T.U. Mrs. Everett was superintendent of peace and arbitration, and at the last Australasian convention she was elected recording secretary. She was a capable worker, and was highly esteemed by her white ribbon comrades.
