Caroline Evamy (Carrie) Earle (1855–1938)

Mrs. C. E. Earle

The death occurred on Monday at Daylesford of Mrs. Caroline Evamy Earle, widow of Mr. William John Earle, who for many years was manager of the Bank of New South Wales in Flinders street, Melbourne. Mrs. Earle was a leading charity worker, and served on the committees of the Women's Hospital and Collingwood Creche and Kindergarten. She was a member of the Alexandra Club and Austral Salon.

Mrs. Earle is survived by three sisters and two brothers. The late Captain Elliott Murray was a son by a former marriage.

The funeral will take place to-day, leaving Sleight's chapel, in St. Kilda road, at 3 p.m. for the Springvale Crematorium.
