John Donald (1838–1916)

Mr. John Donald, one of the oldest members of the Amalgamated Society of Engineers in Victoria, and for over 40 years secretary and treasurer of the Victorian branch, died at his residence, 20 Moray street, at the age of 78 years. Mr. Donald was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. He arrived with his parents in Geelong in 1853, in the ship "Gazelle."
