Margaret Adelaide Creswell (1894–1913)

The remains of Miss Margaret Adelaide Creswell, aged 21 years, the eldest daughter of Sir W. R. and Lady Creswell, were interred this afternoon in the Brighton Cemetery. Miss Creswell's death took place suddenly on Saturday at the residence of her parents, Woornett, Toorak. An inquest was held to-day by Dr. R. H. Cole, the Coroner, but the result was not disclosed. Questioned subsequently, Dr. Cole stated that he had given a promise to Rear Admiral Creswell that he would not make public the outcome of the inquest. Only the relatives and intimate friends of the family were present at the funeral.
