Madeleine Chaleyer (1870–1935)

The death occurred on Saturday of Madame Madeleine Chaleyer at her home 512 Toorak road, Toorak. She was aged 64 years. Madame Chaleyer was born in Paris but has lived in Melbourne since 1891. Her husband Mr. Joseph Chaleyer, who had an importing business in Melbourne predeceased her. The funeral which will be private will take place this afternoon at the St Kilda Cemetery. Arrangements are being carried out by A. A. Sleight Pty Ltd.
