Mr. and Mrs. John C. Murray Carter, of Laharum, suffered bereavement on Friday under very sad circumstances. Their little son, John, aged 19 months, had been suffering from laryngitis, following on influenza, but the little sufferer died on the way into Horsham for medical attention. Much sympathy has been expressed for the parents. The funeral took place on Friday afternoon from Mr. E. A. Boyle's residence in Pynsent-street. The pall-bearers were Messrs: V. Carter, C. Russell, K. Carter and M. MacIntosh. The Rev. E. G. Petherick read the burial service, and Mr. E. A. Boyle carried out the funeral arrangements.
