Mr. Thomas Aubrey Boddington, who died at Perth on 18th November, was born at Northampton, W.A. in 1893, when his father was managing Mount Aubrey Station. Later the family acquired Twin Peaks Station, in the Lower Murchison, and Jingemarra Station, in the Yalgoo district, and on the death of his father Thomas Boddington and his brothers took over the control of both stations. Thomas lived at Twin Peaks until his marriage, in 1922, to the daughter of Mr. E. Angelo, of Carnarvon, when he made his residence at Jingemarra.
Thomas Boddington will be remembered for his good humour, his kindly nature, his readiness to support any worthy cause, and his willingness to help those in need of assistance. His lifetime was spent in the Murchison, in the development of which he was actively associated. He served as a member of the Road Board for many years, and was representative of a generation of Western Australian pastoralists whose interest and understanding of their vocation is never likely to be excelled.
He is survived by a widow, four daughters, and two sons.
